Qld irrigators target Water Minister over SunWater charges

Queensland's Water Minister could face a no-confidence motion if he refuses to meet St George irrigators over SunWater charges.

The irrigators have asked the Opposition to pursue the motion in Parliament if Water Minister Craig Wallace declines their request.

Spokesman Scott Armstrong says growers want Mr Wallace to explain the Government's justification for charging for a service that is not being delivered and to manage a system the growers do not own or lease.
